Arkansas Electrical Convention Delayed until May 19, 2022

The Arkansas Electrical Convention, originally scheduled to take place on February 17, 2022, has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the same location, the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, AR. We are extremely grateful to our partners at the Statehouse Convention Center who worked with us to find an alternate date available to accommodate our event so that we may deliver a successful event that provides value to all our sponsors, vendors, presenters, and attendees.

This decision made by our planning committee did not come easily as we put thoughtful consideration into our next steps. With the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, we understand and respect the health and safety concerns that some have. We are confident that delaying the event until May will deliver an environment more suitable for people to gather safely, and we hope to see you all then.

AEC COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

Due to the City of Little Rock’s mandate, masks will be required to enter the building during the 2022 Arkansas Electrical Convention. Masks may be removed when eating, drinking, or giving a presentation during conference classes. Masks will be available at the check-in area and hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the facility. Below is a message from the Statehouse Convention Center:

“On Tuesday, December 21, the City of Little Rock extended the mask mandate through April stipulating that face masks are required in all city-owned buildings in Little Rock. This includes the public facilities that LRCVB manages, which includes the Statehouse Convention Center where our event is being held.  These measures have been put in place to reduce the spread of the virus and to ensure that visitors to the facility remain safe.

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention in the Statehouse Convention Center. This, coupled with strict adherence to the LRCVB’s own rigorous cleaning regimen, means that visitors to the Statehouse Convention Center are surrounded by the most thorough cleaning processes possible.”
